[vc_row][vc_column][vc_text_separator title=”Questions About Vegan Know How” title_align=”separator_align_left” border_width=”3″][vc_toggle title=”What decides the content on the front pages?” style=”simple”]The website is targeted at news related posts, but that doesn’t necessarily mean typical news. Anything that we feel that people within the vegan community should know about will get published on veganknowhow.
In addition, anything that’s happening on the forums that is noteworthy may end up on the front page.
As long as it provides value to the reader it will be on the website. Of course, it might end up just staying on the forum.
[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”What is the forum?” style=”simple”]The forum is a discussion board to talk about any and all articles that are on the front pages and just about everything else vegan related. It is by far easier to moderate and manage a forum than it is to manage comments sections within posts on the front end.
The forum also allows us freedom to have many extra sections that if were put onto the front end would just end up cluttering up menus.
Think of the forum as a place where you can have your opinion and share it with the rest of the vegan community. You will be rewarded for getting involved and providing value. Eventually, it will end up as a ‘You get out what you put in’ kind of situation.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Why are you writing about tiny houses?” style=”simple”]On Vegan Know How you will find articles not directly to do with veganism and might wonder why. The reason for this is we aim to provide content on all sorts of topics that work towards the goal of educating and informing people of ways they can live more in line with vegan values.
Vegan values meaning living in more environmentally friendly and socially conscious ways.
This includes subjects such as gardening, hydroponics, tiny houses, renewable energy, ethical dilemmas, recycling, waste and trash free living, upcycling, DIY and more.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”How can I write content for the website?” style=”simple”]If you like the kind of content we produce and want to contribute some of your own, whether in a similar style, or in a completely different style, we’d like to hear from you. We are developing a curator program which will be used to come in hand picking paid staff members, but if you want to get ahead of the curve, get in touch with us to find out more.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”How can I join the team?” style=”simple”]If you’re looking at becoming part of the team, great! The more help we get, the better. We are developing a curator program for the future and will be looking for staff for paid positions.
Please get in touch with us to find out more, use the contact form in the menu bar for information.
We will be looking for content creators (either written, or video form), website developers, artists, chefs, athletes, and other skilled individuals.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”How long has this been in development?” style=”simple”]The website network as a whole has been in development for around about 2 years as of 2018. It’s been a learning experience, having never created a website before and doing it solo has been a challenge. There have been so many set backs up to this point whether technical or human error, but things are coming along.
There is much you can’t see happening in the background, with things constantly in development. For now there are 2 websites you can view (veganknowhow.com) and (learn.veganknowhow.com) which are both being worked on daily to complete content that has been planned. On top of that, there are 4 other websites on the network being slowly put together.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Why does it take so long to get a response from staff?” style=”simple”]Simply due to the fact that there is only one staff member. We want to rapidly form a team so we can develop the network of sites. For now, you’ll have to bear with us and be patient.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”What is the points system?” style=”simple”]Our points system is to reward behaviour that involves interacting with the community and contributing to the platform. There will be rewards based on events around the world like Christmas, Veganuary, Halloween, along with events that are important for the platform.
For the first 3 months there will be a daily reward for being registered with us and then beyond that you can gain rewards for all sorts of different things from viewing and commenting on posts to contributing to the forum.
When we are ready to roll out the rest of the website, you’ll be able to redeem your points to buy E-books, pay for courses, buy merchandise and more.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”What is the events calendar?” style=”simple”]Our events calendar is to keep you informed on what vegan related events are going on throughout the year. Please get in touch with us if there’s anything we’re missing.[/vc_toggle][vc_empty_space][/vc_column][/vc_row]
